池田マリナ Episode by さもあり監督 | A Newhalf Actress Restarts in Her Hometown, Miyazaki

"Cuter than a girl!?"

On September 18, さもあり監督 posted an episode in which the newhalf actress 池田マリナ (Ikeda Marina) restarts in her hometown of Miyazaki. The caption is short and says nothing about her partner or how it unfolds. Reading the text on the thumbnail, though, a storyline comes into view: "A reunion with an ex-girlfriend, a creampie. And on to a forbidden threesome..."

What I watched is the 1 minute 24 second sample and the thumbnail. I have not seen the full video, so for its flow I can only go as far as the caption.

Highlights

① "The greatest newhalf actress of all time" restarts in her hometown, Miyazaki, with "RE:START!"

The second line of the caption is "The greatest newhalf actress of all time makes a shocking descent into doujin!", followed by the restart in her hometown of Miyazaki. The sample follows the same thread: after the title card "池田マリナ Re:START!", the on-screen text announces "A new story begins in her hometown, Miyazaki." Several photos of people eating are layered across the screen.

② The storyline of "a reunion with someone she can't forget"

The thumbnail's "reunion with an ex-girlfriend" is the backbone of this episode. The sample has a scene in a nighttime street where someone is approached, and the text reads "A reunion with someone she can't forget," followed by "Surprise and confusion. Even so, fond memories come back." The audio transcript also includes a voice that opens by saying it had heard they used to date. After the text "Doing what we couldn't back then," it moves to a bed scene and continues with "gently take it back."

③ Not just a reunion: a scene with three people

The second half of the sample shifts at the point where the text teases "A touching reunion is nice, but...?" First-person text follows, "I'm not one to stop there," and "I understand them best ♪", and it ends on a scene with three people side by side: 池田マリナ, a partner with a blurred face, and a man. It matches the "forbidden threesome" on the thumbnail.

What the thumbnail shows

At the center of the thumbnail, 池田マリナ, with long, strongly reddish hair, is shown holding a soft-serve ice cream. Her face is not blurred. On the left, in vertical type, is "池田マリナ"; on the right, in yellow, "The greatest NH actress of all time descends on doujin."; and across the bottom, large, "【Hometown: Miyazaki】 Re:START!!!" The speech bubble "Newhalf feels 100 times better than a woman ♡" also catches the eye. Three scenes line up along the bottom, and close-up frames are blurred.

What the sample video shows

The sample attached to the full video runs 1 minute 24 seconds. It is built like a trailer heavy on on-screen text, and in time order it goes like this.

• 0:00~ A large-windowed room, two people seen from behind standing by the window
• 0:06~ The title card "池田マリナ Re:START!" Over a figure walking along a poolside, "Another Sky, A New Beginning"
• 0:15~ "A new story begins in her hometown, Miyazaki"
• 0:21~ A scene of approaching someone in a nighttime street. A person with a blurred face appears, with "A reunion with someone she can't forget"
• 0:39~ Two people facing each other on a sofa in a room with dark walls. "Surprise and confusion. Even so, fond memories come back."
• 0:45~ A bed scene. "gently take it back."
• 0:57~ It cuts to a rocky shore at the sea with "A touching reunion is nice, but...?", then "I'm not one to stop there,"
• 1:09~ "Women's bodies, men's bodies," and "I understand them best ♪". A scene with three people
• 1:21 It ends on the SAMOARI logo

池田マリナ's face is never blurred through to the end, while her partner's face is. The sample is a trailer stitched together with on-screen text, and the conversation is cut short. How far they talk in the full video is unknown.

Before you watch

The full video runs 68 minutes. The caption gives no notice of a discount, a limited-time offer or the end of availability.

Just keep the coming and going of the price tag in mind. When I checked on September 27 it was 9,800 yen as a single purchase, but when I checked again on the 29th the listing had vanished. No reason is given anywhere. I also can't tell whether it changed into something you can watch through a plan, so if you are going to buy, check the current listing on the post page.

On views it ranks last among the 14 popular posts, but that is a figure from less than two weeks after release.
