If you've decided you only want a handful of specific posts, an individual purchase suits you; if you want to follow a creator's new releases every month, plan membership suits you better. The dividing line is whether it stays yours after you cancel — and that matters a lot. Individual purchases, gacha wins, and monthly back-number purchases are one-time buys unaffected by cancellation. Monthly plans, past posts unlocked through continuation perks, and the unlimited-viewing channel all become unwatchable once you cancel.
The three one-time purchases that stay with you
First, individual purchases. Prices range from ¥100 to ¥20,000, set by the creator. A single post can be sold under both a plan and as an individual sale, so you can buy the same post individually even while subscribed to the plan. A post you bought individually stays viewable from your purchased-content page even if the creator deletes it themselves — but if it's removed by the operator (e.g., for a terms violation) or the creator closes their account, it becomes unviewable even though you purchased it.
Next is the monthly back-number purchase — a system for buying posts whose publication period has expired, on a per-month basis. It remains viewable even if the creator deletes the post. It doesn't appear on the pages of creators who haven't enabled it.
Gacha randomly awards you one item from the content a creator has set up. What you win is a one-time purchase. If you've already bought a post individually, drawing it again counts as already won, and you can't draw a gacha whose entire contents you've already purchased. Buying a gacha automatically makes you follow that creator — worth remembering if you don't want your follow list to grow.
Monthly plans and continuation perks that disappear when you cancel
Monthly plans auto-renew on the same date the following month. Prices range from ¥50 to ¥50,000. There's no prorating or refund if you cancel partway through, and posts tied to the plan become unviewable the moment you cancel — so canceling right before the renewal date leaves you with nothing.
Plans with continuation perks need extra care. Right after joining, you can only see the current and previous month's posts. As you stay subscribed, past posts get unlocked for free one by one — for plans without a specified pace, your viewable range expands by one more past month for every two months you continue. There's also "過去投稿開放" (Unlock past posts), which lets you buy access to past months without waiting, but this is not a one-time purchase — it becomes unviewable along with the rest of the plan's posts if you cancel. Posts whose publication period has expired and become back numbers are not covered by continuation perks; you need to buy them separately as back numbers.
Joining a different plan from the same creator doesn't automatically cancel your current one. Joining a more expensive plan doesn't necessarily mean you can see all posts, either — content differs by plan.
Bundles and the unlimited-viewing channel
A bundle is a package that contracts 3, 6, or 12 months of a plan at once, paid in a lump sum. Coupons can't be used, and some payment methods can't be used to buy one. Unlike monthly plans, a bundle canceled on or after 19:10 on November 14, 2025 stays viewable until the contract period ends.
The unlimited-viewing channel costs ¥3,980 a month and lets you watch eligible posts from multiple creators at once. Here too, eligible posts become unviewable the moment you cancel. For details, see our guide to the unlimited-viewing channel.
A rule of thumb based on how many posts you want
If you only want one or two posts from a single creator, an individual purchase won't go to waste. The math is simple: if adding up the individual prices of the posts you want exceeds the plan's monthly price, joining the plan for a month works out cheaper. If you want to catch up on a batch of past posts, check the continuation-perk unlock pace and whether back numbers are available first. If a creator you've decided to follow long-term offers a bundle, choose it once you understand the lump-sum payment and what happens after cancellation.
Frequently asked questions
Is there any point buying individually while subscribed to the plan?
Yes. Plan posts become unviewable once you cancel, but a post you bought individually is a one-time purchase that stays with you. You can buy the same post individually even while subscribed to the plan.
Can I still see posts unlocked through continuation perks after canceling?
No. Both posts unlocked through continued subscription and those bought via "過去投稿開放" (unlock past posts) become unviewable once you cancel.
How long can I keep watching a post I won from gacha?
A gacha win is treated the same as a one-time individual purchase — it isn't affected by canceling a plan.
