myfans: Is the unlimited-viewing channel worth it?

Guides・2026-09-30

This guide reflects myfans' official help center as checked on 2026-09-30. Specifications may change, so please check the official site for the latest information.

The unlimited-viewing channel suits people who want to browse widely across many creators' work rather than follow one specific person. For ¥3,980 a month (plus a processing fee), you can watch the eligible posts creators have registered all at once — but if you already know which creator you want to follow, their own plan or an individual purchase is more reliable. Creators choose which posts are eligible on a post-by-post basis, so there's no guarantee the post you want is included. You can't cancel for the first 7 days after joining.

What posts you can watch on the unlimited-viewing channel

Eligibility is per post — creators register them one at a time. Once registered, subscribers can watch every registered post at no extra charge. There are conditions, too: since April 28, 2026, only posts meeting one of the following can be registered:

At least 10 minutes long and included in a plan priced ¥500 or more
At least 10 minutes long and priced at least ¥500 as an individual sale
At least 10 minutes long and released as limited/unlisted content

Once you've joined, you can find eligible posts via "見放題Ch" (Unlimited Ch) at the bottom of the screen or the home banner. You can also search unlimited-channel titles without joining or even before logging in, so you can check whether the creator you want is included before deciding to join. Since July 30, 2026, there's also a link on each creator's page that takes you directly to their unlimited-channel-eligible posts.

Joining, canceling, and the 7-day restriction

To join, go to "見放題ch" (Unlimited ch) under "購入・保存" (Purchases & saved) in "アカウント" (Account) and select "見放題chに登録する" (Join the unlimited channel). Cancellation is done from the same screen. Once you cancel, eligible posts become unviewable immediately.

Anyone who joins for the first time on or after 14:00 on July 8, 2026 can't cancel for 7 days (168 hours) after joining. This restriction applies only to the initial sign-up — after a renewal, you can cancel anytime. Even if you join just to try it out, you're locked in for the first week.

The June 2026 price change

The change took effect on June 17, 2026, when the monthly price became ¥3,980. Anyone already subscribed at the old price keeps renewing at ¥2,980. If you cancel and rejoin, you'll be moved to ¥3,980 — so if you're still on the old price, think carefully before canceling.

A separate service from myfans Premium membership

myfans Premium membership has a similar name but is a separate service from the unlimited-viewing channel — easy to confuse. For ¥1,980 a month (plus a processing fee), you get high-quality playback, seek-bar previews, scene jump, and playlists. High quality goes up to 4K, though some posts don't support it. An annual plan works out to an effective ¥1,650 a month. Canceling Premium membership doesn't cancel any of your creator plans.

Frequently asked questions

If I join the unlimited-viewing channel, do I no longer need creator plans?

No. You can only watch the posts creators have registered for the unlimited channel — it doesn't include everything available through their plans.

Can I cancel right after joining?

If you joined for the first time on or after 14:00 on July 8, 2026, you can't cancel for 7 days after joining. This restriction applies only to your initial sign-up.

I joined at the old ¥2,980 price — will it go up?

Anyone who joined before the price change keeps renewing at ¥2,980. If you cancel and rejoin, you'll move to ¥3,980.
