つばさ | "Walking Around Town in a Nose Hook Is Way Too Erotic": 57 Minutes from a Shinjuku Meetup

"Walking around town in a nose hook is way too erotic." That is what the comment section says about つばさ's September 21 post. It started with a joke from つばさ. According to the caption, つばさ said, "Wear a nose hook to our meetup lol," and the other person took it seriously, actually put one on, and came to Shinjuku.

The running time is 57 minutes. There are only 5 comments (as of October 3), and I found no negative ones. One of them asks for more.

What I worked from: the caption, the thumbnail, the 56-second free sample and the 5 comments. I have not watched the 57-minute main video.

What is good about this video

① Meant as a joke, she showed up dressed exactly as asked

What つばさ asked for was a nose hook worn to the meetup. Normally that is the kind of joke you laugh off. According to the caption, the other person really did put one on and turned up in Shinjuku. The left side of the thumbnail is a close-up of that face. Above the nose hook and the black mask, the eyes are smiling. Is she holding back her embarrassment, or enjoying herself? In the street scene of the sample, you can see those eyes clearly.

② Passersby's eyes pile onto her as she walks the night streets

The caption says that everyone who passed turned around to look, and that people nearby held up their phones and took photos. The audio of the sample carries that atmosphere too. "There's nobody who isn't looking." In the scene where she turns into an alley, a voice worrying about how many eyes are on her chimes in: "Maybe there'll be fewer people once we're in the alley." You can tell that looks are gathering around her as she walks through town.

③ The "girlfriend" and "boyfriend" subtitles that the caption never mentions

The caption only tells the story up to the meetup scene. The sample, however, has an indoor scene with two people the subtitles call "girlfriend" and "boyfriend," and near the end a subtitle reads "the boyfriend is the base lol." What happens after the meetup? The only doorway to that answer is in the sample's subtitles.

What kind of video is it?

According to the caption, the setting is Shinjuku, the most populous town in Japan. Seeing the other person who had seriously put on the nose hook that was asked for as a joke, つばさ writes, "It's so crazy I'm just dumbfounded." That is the scene the caption describes: everyone who passed turned around, and the people nearby held up their phones and took photos. The tone stays teasing to the very end.

How the 57-minute main video goes after the meetup is not written in the caption. All that can be read from the sample's subtitles is that a "girlfriend" and a "boyfriend" are in a room.

What the free sample shows

The core of the free 56 seconds is a nightlife district at night. She walks down the street still wearing the nose hook and a black mask. Light-colored short hair, a floral-print shirt on a white ground. She looks around and smiles with her eyes alone, so much that it comes across even with the lower half of her face hidden. Over that comes the voice saying "there's nobody who isn't looking," so the number of eyes that the caption talks about can be seen while it is still free.

The opening and the ending are indoors. There are two people the subtitles call "girlfriend" and "boyfriend." While she crouches in front of a standing man, the boyfriend kneels on the floor beside her. At the end, she rests her upper body on the back of the boyfriend crouching on the floor, and the subtitle laughs, "the boyfriend is the base lol" (with mosaic). The eyes of the street and the teasing of this indoor scene are both packed into the same 56 seconds. Where does she, nose hook and all, go after the meetup? The 57-minute main video is not in the sample.

What the comment section says

There are 5 comments (as of October 3). The 5 I could read were written in late September.

• 3 are reactions to how she looks in the nose hook and to her expression. One person praises the scene of her walking through town, one writes "She's perverted to the max," and one writes "Thank you for showing the whites of your eyes."
• 1 asks for more: "I'm looking forward to this woman's part-two video!"
• 1 is a remark about a part of the body.

Among the 5 I could read, there are no questions, no negative comments and no replies from the poster. With so few comments, read this less as a trend than as a list of where the people who watched reacted.

Before you buy

The running time is 57 minutes, and it went up on September 21. The caption mentions no discount, no giveaway and no notice of deletion. Neither the price for buying it individually nor whether it can be watched under a plan is stated. つばさ's plans include the Premium Video plan at ¥4,980 a month (103 videos) and the Royal Guard plan at ¥5,280 a month (106 videos), among others; these figures are as of September 30. Nothing in the caption suggests a reason to hurry.

This one is not for everyone. The caption's tone makes a laughingstock of the other person, and it ends with the call, "So that nobody ends up an adult like this, everyone please spread this around lol." If you dislike plots where someone is filmed in public, or a teasing narrative voice, skip it. Her face, in both the thumbnail and the sample, is half hidden by the nose hook and a black mask.

Who will like this

• People who like plots where someone is teased in public or put in an embarrassing outfit
• People who are weak for the turn where something asked as a joke actually happens
• People curious about an unpredictable development, with a "boyfriend" showing up in the subtitles

She smiles with only her eyes in the crowds of Shinjuku. Whether that suits your taste, you can check in the sample's 56 seconds. The caption's tone is played for laughs to the very end, so it is not for anyone who does not take to that.
